Student Rubrics

Many times teachers prepare the rubrics for evaluation.  Sometimes it could be fun to see what the kids think that they should be graded on to achieve success on their projects.  If they choose the topics they think are important topics we might see more from their prospective in life that differs from what we think is important.  It can be fun to see things from their perspective.

How can technology be used most effectively 
to support and assess student learning?

Technology can help assess in many ways.  We as teachers can be more creative in our ways to assess students.  Knowing that they are not just taking a test they are more able to express creativity and give effort in other ways to bump up their grades.  We can use rubrics and other forms to assess and influence learning.  Doing projects allows more door to be opened and help utilize their brains and get o higher order thinking easily.
